Mandatory UI upgrade to be sent 3/22/22

IMPORTANT AMB-OS UPDATEAmb-OS announces a mandatory update to its User Interface (UI) software, new version 1.34.4.We'll be sending the new software to connected AMR-100 & AMR-100I units on Tuesday, 3/22/22 at around 14:30 Eastern time and, depending upon your current UI's revision level, you'll be automatically prompted to install the new version.  The install process can be postponed until a more convenient time but the installer package will continue to prompt users until completed.  Note that if your UI PC still employs Microsoft XP as its operating system this new version of the UI WILL NOT WORK and we recommend that you upgrade your UI PC or OS immediately.  As previously announced,  UI support for XP ended on 10/31/2021.If you'd like to install the new upgrade ahead of Tuesday's push it is also manually available via these processes: (Note: to prevent false positives during the upgrade process, temporarily turn off until complete any running anti-virus software on your UI PC.)- Via the "Help" tab of the UI >click "UI updates" >highlight "1.34.4" then click "This will update your UI immediately"- Via the Amb-OS support page (https://www.amb-os.com/support); click on the “User Interface (UI) Software” link- Via the Amb-OS UI page - then click on "latest stable release 1.34.4" (https://www.amb-os.com/ui)This software upgrade is being deployed to allow a broader slate of programs that are customized for individual station AMRs.  Many behind-the-curtain enhancements have also been added since our last mandatory upgrade was sent in 2020.  Although older versions of the UI may continue to operate for a period of time, to take full advantage of the UI's expanded functionality please be sure you update your UI by the end of next week (3/25/2022.)If you need technical support, contact our helpdesk at 1-877-262-6728 or email support@amb-os.com.Thank you for your partnership!Amb-OS Support
