Satellite signal change Monday, 3/2/2015

Reminder: On March 2nd, 2015 at 11:59:52 Eastern, Amb-OS’s (as well as other CRC entities’) satellite uplink provider will change our signal’s symbol rate characteristic. We will adjust our transmission schedule for that day so as to not be transmitting program files during the transition period. As the changes are made we expect that your AMR will de-acquire and then re-acquire within a few seconds.  AMR-100I (Internet-only) units will not be affected by this change.  Note: A copy of this instructional document is available for download on our Support web page http://www.amb-os.com/pdfs/Symbol Change 2015.pdf.The new symbol rate will be sent by us to your receiver from the Amb-OS head-end so under normal circumstances the manual change as detailed below will not be necessary. However, if a local manual change becomes necessary due to your AMR being offline when the command is sent (if you have spare AMR-100 units you may want to consider having them also connected to the satellite feed on March 2nd) refer to the AMR-100 front panel LCD display and four associated pushbuttons to make changes to “Symrate” ONLY:AMRPress [ENTER] twicePress [DOWN] three times to “Receiver Utilities”Press [ENTER] oncePress [DOWN] twice to “Symrate” (old value is 03910000 new value is 04710000)1.
