Mandatory UI upgrade 1.36.0 sent 3/14/24

IMPORTANT AMB-OS UPDATE Today we’ve sent new Microsoft Windows-based UI software as a non-optional revision to connected AMR-100/200 units at around 11:29 Eastern time and, depending upon your current UI's revision level, you'll be automatically prompted to install the new version.  The install process can be postponed until a more convenient time but the installer package will continue to prompt users until completed.  Note that if your UI PC still employs Microsoft XP as its operating system this new version of the UI WILL NOT WORK and we recommend that you upgrade your UI PC or OS immediately.  As previously announced,  UI support for XP ended on 10/31/2021. If you’re using our Linux Amb-UX program as your transfer agent no changes in your software need to be made.

The new UI version is also manually available via a download from our Support webpage: (https://www.amb-os.com/support); click on the “User Interface (UI) Software” link - then click on "latest stable release 1.36.0" or directly via the Amb-OS UI page (https://www.amb-os.com/ui) (Note: to prevent false positives during the upgrade process, temporarily turn off until complete any running anti-virus software on your UI PC.) If you’ve previously elected to install the new version ahead of today’s push your UI should need no further attention.

This software upgrade is being deployed to display the current operating mode of your connected AMR-100/200 among other enhancements. Although older versions of the UI may continue to operate for a period of time, to take full advantage of the UI's expanded functionality please be sure you update your UI as soon as possible.
