New AMR-100 Firmware 2.66 sent 2/15/24

We've sent new firmware to connected AMR-100 receivers, today, Thursday, 2/15/2024, at approx. 1106 Eastern.  The new firmware allows units that are receiving live and/or prerecorded programs via our SES-2 satellite service to automatically fail-over to SvI (Satellite via Internet) service if satellite reception becomes impaired or is interrupted.  Receivers should automatically re-boot after confirming the firmware update and then resume their normal activity.  If your AMR is playing audio at the time the firmware arrives, the re-flash process will be inhibited until the next minute after the receiver stops audio play-out.  If you have issues or questions related to the firmware flash please call our help-desk at 1.877.AMBOS2U or email us at support@amb-os.com.

We’ve also developed new UI (User Interface) software to display the current receive mode of the AMR as well as increased functionality. A new UI version will be sent as a mandatory update in the near future, but if you’d like to begin using the new display capability right away - click “help” then “UI Updates” – highlight 1.35.14 then click “This will update your UI immediately” – once the update has executed restart your UI.
